My son has always had a healthy appetite and I want to make sure his lunch stays cold. I do not like my drinks warm and I will not make him have his warm either. In Kindergarten, my son would take grapes, apples, bananas, yogurt (both spoon and drinkables), bottle of juice, jelly sandwich, peanut butter sandwich (he did not want PB&J, he wanted them separate), a couple of cookies, or a small brownie. When we would put them in separate containers so nothing would get squished it would take a hardsided, 12+ can cooler to fit everything. He would rarely have leftovers and if he did have any, it was his after school snack before we would pick him up in after school care.
- Large 12.25x10.25x8.75
- Large openings for good containers, do not have to put them on their sides to get them in
- Easily fits 12 12oz cans with ice packs (I use some medical ice packs, and some that came with food items delivered by FedEx/UPS)
- Has shoulder strap enabling him to carry his backpack, lunchbox, and Lacrosse gear to school on days someone else is picking him up for practice
- Perfect for taking a few soft drinks to the drive-in
- Perfect for anyone’s lunch appetite
- Outer pouch is big enough to fit a container of chips or other items you do not want or need to keep cold, even hold silver/plasticware
- Compact, able to fold up, if empty, after lunch or outing
- Stitching seems to be sturdy and tight with no stray strings
- Easy to zip and unzip with a nice rubber pull tab
- Washes easily when needed
Cons:
- Will leak as ice melts unless you put it in baggies taking up room
Overall:
