iPhone 5 Screen Protection - Helps save your childs screen from themselves

I purchased from seller Bagtag-Store, Cellbell Tempered Glass Screen for iPhone 5.  I found with my own phone how well the Tempered Glass Screens protect. I had my phone in a barely there phone case, which was more decorative then anything else and dropped my phone, on carpet, walking into class one day. I picked up my phone and saw what looked like these 2 long cracks and several smaller ones. My husband saw it and thought I had cracked the phone, but in fact, I had a tempered glass screen protector on my phone and it had taken all the damage, when I took it off to check and replace, my phone was unharmed. My son has been trying different phone cases, but he won’t leave them on more than a day unless it is extremely thin. I had to get him a tempered screen because I was afraid he would damage his phone, as I have caught him several times throwing it up and catching it. Now I do not have to worry as much.

Pros:

• Protects from scratches
• Reliable bubble free installation
• Touch screen keeps accuracy
• Has an oops forgiveness when installing, allows you to pull up at that time and realign before you press and seal to screen

Cons:

Overall: 

It is definitely worth the money. It will save your sanity, if you are a klutz and drop your phone. Great way to protect your phones screens.

Geat iPhone case for teens!

I purchased from seller Qhai, iPhone 5S case. I am always looking for a new iPhone case for my son. He is constantly removing his cases because he decides either it hurts his hand, it is loose or decides out of the blue that he does not like it any more.

 

Pros:

• Available in multiple colors
• Great protection against dropping phones
• Does not slide of tables easily
• Not a slick case, so it will not slide out of your hands easily
• Buttons are easy to access

 

Cons:

• Is not waterproof
• Does not provide protection from dust/debris/water from getting into exposed ports

Overall:  Great protection overall.  Bright colors helps my son find it when he leaves it laying around the house. This is a very good phone case, as long as you are not constantly taking it off or playing with it by sliding it off and on in spots.

iPhone 5s charging case

I received from seller YHhao, a iPhone 5s charger case. This charger has the nice feature of blue lights across the bottom, when charging. It says 25%, 50%, 75% and all four lit up means 100% charged. Another nice function is the USB port where you can charge an additional device. Unless you plan to use Bluetooth earbuds, then you will need to get an extender or else your headphones won't fit in the jack. This definitely adds weight to your phone, obviously and it just takes some getting used to. Nice and solid feel to it. This battery case also can be used as a power supply for something else as it has the added USB port. An extra feature that this case has is that has a kickstand on the back so you can watch movies or shows or whatever.

Pros:

• Enables you to go over a full day or longer between plugging into a wall
• USB connection to plug in thumb drive or USB cable to charge another devise
• Keeps phone from sliding easily
• Has a kickstand

Cons:

• Can not use cable earbuds without extender
• Hard to push power button when case is one unless you have long nails or narrow stylist
• Takes awhile to charge phone/charger when power is depleted
• Hard to get the kickstand out, need a nail file or tweezers to pop it out

Overall:  Would get again. Works great. Just wish there was a cover over power button that would make It easier to push.

I originally got for my son’s phone, but he did not like it, as he was afraid it would not protect his phone well. He is a terrible klutz and is constantly dropping his phone. So after testing, he gave it to his Grammy who had come to visit. She was thrilled because she constantly had to charge.  She noticed the problem with the power button, but said it was not enough of a determinant to keep from using, just a pain.

Nylon Braided Lightning USB Charger

I received from seller Triplex Budget&Good Nylon Braided Durable Lightning USB Charger 10 Feet for iPhone6s Plus, 6s, 6, 5, iPad, iPod - Gold 3 Pack. 

We go through cables like there is no tomorrow.  Either accident vacuuming over, dogs chewing on them, connection was loose from the beginning and over time it just quit, tangled crimped cords, or after using at least a week to 2 months we start getting message that the cable is not supported and they won’t charge and the computer does not see them. It has not mattered if it was aftermarket or Apple cables, eventually my son will somehow destroy. These are great. 10 ft cables means my son can lay back in the car and charge his iPad or iPhone and still be able to use them. I can lay in bed and use mine while charging. 10 ft cables are great when you are spread out on table working on school work and need to charge your iPad, iPod or iPhone but do not have the room right near your laptop, you can plug them in and place them out of the way while you work. I love the braided cable, they do not kink or tangle anywhere like the standard cables do. These cables actually feel and look thicker than other braided cables I have tried and the Apple cables. These cables fit snuggly and not loose like others I have tried. I like the matt finish these gold cables have, they are not shiny but they have a little sparkle so that if there is only a little light you will see a little sparkle and know that there is a cable where as with white sometimes you just don’t see them.

Pros: Great length, won’t kink, don’t tangle, snug connection, has some give, won’t break if you stretch it a little.

Cons: none that I have found.

AUMI Heavy Duty Rugged Dual Layered iPhone 5 Case

I got this case for my son, and he says "it is one of the best cases he has used." He really likes the style of the case. It is rugged, and seems to give extra protection for his new iPhone 5c. We have tried other cases for his iPhone 5 but he said of all of them, this one is his favorite.

This case is High quality, Heavy duty, easy to use, no struggle with putting it on my phone and taking it off my phone, unlike most phone cases i have tried it can be a struggle easy access to all function buttons on phone due to the precisely cut openings.

My son really likes the kickstand on the back to have that hands free option to his phone.  He is a klutz of the first order just like his mother and so he drops his phone on a regular basis and this case has survived quiet nicely.

Drvan Bumper Shock-Absorption Anti-Scratch Silicon TPU arrived in a well protected case.

It is very flexible, you can see that you can twist it.

Ir is see through, smokey gray, might be hard to find if buried in backpack.

It is a snug fit. My son's comment was that he is afraid it would bot be protective enough for him.

It is very thin, makes you wonder what would happen if dropped

Pros:  Thin, not a slick case, so it won't slide much on surfaces.
Cons: Too thin, not enough protection if child drops it. It would be hard to find if dropped in purse or backpack.
Overall: It is perfect for someone who is not a klutz or keeps their electronics away from the kids.

ULAK Hybrid Case for Apple iPhone 5 / iPhone 5S 2-Piece Dual Layer Style Hard Cover (Gold+Black)

All opinions expressed are my own and Xander's. I received the ULAK Hybrid Case for his iPhone 5 for free. Amazon said it would be delivered Saturday, with the Snow we received, mail did not run, but I received a text from Amazon around 3 pm Sunday, that the ULAK case had been delivered and sure enough it was in my mailbox.  My son quickly opened the package and was begging me to switch cases.

 A new case, a clothe to wipe screen off, new screen protector, a card to wipe the bubbles out and a stylist

Before we put the phone in the new case, this is the way the 2 pieces go.

Difference in thickness between his Otterbox and ULAK. ULAK is much thinner.

Pros: Thin. Clearer, cleaner sound out of speaker. Easier to remove. Fits better in pockets. Does not stick to lining of backpack at school, or his sweatpants pockets. Thinner button covers requiring less pressure. Comes with a stylist that matches cover.

Cons: Does not protect from water or dust. My son said he wished it had an outer screen cover like the the Otterbox does to give added protection from scratches.

Overall Opinion:  Love the ULAK. It fits better in his pockets. Easy to get to earbud plug and power connection. Protects very well from drops. Love the stylist.
