iPhone 5s charging case

I received from seller YHhao, a iPhone 5s charger case. This charger has the nice feature of blue lights across the bottom, when charging. It says 25%, 50%, 75% and all four lit up means 100% charged. Another nice function is the USB port where you can charge an additional device. Unless you plan to use Bluetooth earbuds, then you will need to get an extender or else your headphones won't fit in the jack. This definitely adds weight to your phone, obviously and it just takes some getting used to. Nice and solid feel to it. This battery case also can be used as a power supply for something else as it has the added USB port. An extra feature that this case has is that has a kickstand on the back so you can watch movies or shows or whatever.

Pros:

• Enables you to go over a full day or longer between plugging into a wall
• USB connection to plug in thumb drive or USB cable to charge another devise
• Keeps phone from sliding easily
• Has a kickstand

Cons:

• Can not use cable earbuds without extender
• Hard to push power button when case is one unless you have long nails or narrow stylist
• Takes awhile to charge phone/charger when power is depleted
• Hard to get the kickstand out, need a nail file or tweezers to pop it out

Overall:  Would get again. Works great. Just wish there was a cover over power button that would make It easier to push.

I originally got for my son’s phone, but he did not like it, as he was afraid it would not protect his phone well. He is a terrible klutz and is constantly dropping his phone. So after testing, he gave it to his Grammy who had come to visit. She was thrilled because she constantly had to charge.  She noticed the problem with the power button, but said it was not enough of a determinant to keep from using, just a pain.

Power Strip Box Cover

I purchased from seller Qicent Trading Co., LIMITED, a Safety Baby Surge Protector Power Strip Outlet Box Cover. Unclutters charging areas. Keeps dogs, and young children out. If using a narrow power strip, you can also hid a USB charging hub inside. There are a total of 8 cable slots (4 on each side), which should be plenty.

 

Pros:

• Hides cables
• Can place a USB Hub inside too
• Protects from accidental spills
• Heat resistant
• Handles a lot of cords, both thick and thin

Cons:

• Thin, strong plastic but can not take a lot of weight
• Lid fits only 1 way, if try to put on the opposite, it does not grip and hold itself together
• Only indention's, no rubber/gripping feet to hold it if placed on table
• If strip itself is thick, plugging mac cable in strip lid will not close

Overall: Decent cable organization box.  Will not work in the living room with power strip I wanted to use, but will work perfectly in my son’s room with his gaming stations and tv power.

Qicent USB Wall Charger

I purchased from seller Qicent Trading Co., LIMITED, a 30W 4- port USB Wall charger Travel adapter about a week ago. I wanted to makes sure I had plenty of changes to test properly. My son took it immediately and set to charging his iPad, iPhone, iPod and blue tooth earbuds.

Pros:

• Less likely to forget a charger when on trips

Cons:

• Can fully charge up to 4 times

Desktop USB connection portable charging station

I purchased from seller Qicent Trading Co., LIMITED, a 39W 5- port 5V 7.8A USB Desktop Charger Station Portable Travel Charger. This charging station has a blue indicator light on top that shows if there is power going through the main charger unit. This power adapter allows you to take 1 adapter instead of 5 different power adapters on trips and hoping you do not forget one of the power adapters.

3 pack blue 10 ft lightning charging cables

I purchased from seller Budget&Good, 3 Pack 10 Ft Extra Long Lightning to USB Cable With Ultra Compact Connector Head for ios devises. This is a really excellent, reliable and , robust cable for your ipod/iphone/ipad. These are much more sturdier and thicker than the official apple cables. The official Apple Lightening cable looks flimsy in front of this one. These are built to last. 

I like the fact that they include little touch of the "Thank you" cards included in the package.

I have had it for a while now and there is no sign of wear and tear yet. This cable is so reliable that you will be pleasantly surprised that you don't have to buy one again in the near future. Also because it's 10 feet long it means you can easily charge the phone while using it without having to sit next to the charging point.

It is a 'lightening cable' which means it will Sync and Charge without trouble.

Gel Color Pens

I purchased from seller GL-SAIL(US), Premium Gel Color Pens. I love pens, if it writes well I check to see what brand/type pen it is and see how much it costs to try and buy. This pack of 36 is divided into pastels (aka milky pens), neons, and metallics (aka glitter pens).  While there are several colors that were extremely similar to each other, you can tell a slight difference when they are side by side on the paper. Several standard colors you usually want, were only in glitter, that being said, I love the colors just wish there was more diversity. I love the carrying case. It makes it so easy to keep the pens together and makes it harder to lose or break pens when they are put away correctly. Each pen is held securely so you don’t have to worry about them bouncing around and leaking everywhere. 

 

I did not notice any cramping or discomfort using the pen and my husband tells me I sat there for several hours straight coloring. I prefer a medium to bold point tip so I loved that these pens were 0.8mm to 1.0mm (needle point tip). That makes them good for coloring where you need to cover large space or tight places. The metallics wrote great. The metallics glided on the paper like butter, except every once in a while, they would snag like they had a bit of dried ink or dirt on the tip. The colors were vibrant and there was bleeding or spreading of the ink.  The con I have to say about this set is the pastel colors skipped a lot when I tried to write with them. I know this tends to be hard for many brands, but considering how light these colors are, if they skip, especially if you hand touches it before it is dry, it makes it even more illegible. The neons also had some skipping when writing, in comparison to the metallics. I would also have liked to see the standard black, blue and green gel with no frills.

 

With that said, I do believe this set is more suited for “coloring” or arts and crafts rather than writing or color coding when writing. In general I would still recommend this set. It’s a good price for such a range of color, and the carrying case is a plus.

• Lots of pastels but few basic colors in non-glitter

Blackboard Contact Paper

I purchased from seller Perfecto Gifts, Blackboard Wall Decals. With 2 rolls of almost 18 inches wide by 6 feet long, we have plenty to go around. I cut one and placed on the wall in the kitchen with my son’s chore list on it, another in the kitchen for shopping list (if I don’t write it down it will be forgotten and if on paper, before I leave, will be lost), one in my son’s play room for his use, one in his room for use, one in the office for use when working on homework or my quilting, one in the detached garage that my husband is using for his projects, whatever they maybe, and I cut many small ones to put on storage containers marking Christmas ornaments, outside decorations, inside decorations, lights, misc. Christmas, Halloween, Fall, cookie cutters, flour, sugar, self-rising flour, etc.

On the back of the rolls is a graph, making cutting a little bit easier and also making it more likely you will get a nice straight cut! A WORD OF WARNING: Make sure your scissors or box cutter is SHARP SHARP SHARP! If its the least bit dull, expect it to be a lot harder to cut and get straight! Just saying, learn from my mistake!

Once cut, its just a matter of applying it carefully and straight, leave the backing on and pull off just a corner to get started, much easier to re-position and remove the bubbles as you go! This product is a lot like Contact Paper and is similar in application. Once you have it where you are happy with it lined up, began to pull the backing off while holding it in place and smooth as you go. It sounds hard, but a few tugs and taking your time will pay off big here!

• Great for marking containers in fridge with meals for each person or leftovers with made on date
• Cheaper than the old chalkboards
• Cheaper and easier to use than the chalkboard paint

Cons:

• When you wipe off, if not careful it can get the chalk colors on the wall
• Kids can peel it off

Overall: Definitely buy this if you have kids, if you want to make lists you won’t lose, want to mark what is in containers without using permanent marker –which you can not remove easily.
