Gel Color Pens

I purchased from seller GL-SAIL(US), Premium Gel Color Pens. I love pens, if it writes well I check to see what brand/type pen it is and see how much it costs to try and buy. This pack of 36 is divided into pastels (aka milky pens), neons, and metallics (aka glitter pens).  While there are several colors that were extremely similar to each other, you can tell a slight difference when they are side by side on the paper. Several standard colors you usually want, were only in glitter, that being said, I love the colors just wish there was more diversity. I love the carrying case. It makes it so easy to keep the pens together and makes it harder to lose or break pens when they are put away correctly. Each pen is held securely so you don’t have to worry about them bouncing around and leaking everywhere.

I did not notice any cramping or discomfort using the pen and my husband tells me I sat there for several hours straight coloring. I prefer a medium to bold point tip so I loved that these pens were 0.8mm to 1.0mm (needle point tip). That makes them good for coloring where you need to cover large space or tight places. The metallics wrote great. The metallics glided on the paper like butter, except every once in a while, they would snag like they had a bit of dried ink or dirt on the tip. The colors were vibrant and there was bleeding or spreading of the ink.  The con I have to say about this set is the pastel colors skipped a lot when I tried to write with them. I know this tends to be hard for many brands, but considering how light these colors are, if they skip, especially if you hand touches it before it is dry, it makes it even more illegible. The neons also had some skipping when writing, in comparison to the metallics. I would also have liked to see the standard black, blue and green gel with no frills.

With that said, I do believe this set is more suited for “coloring” or arts and crafts rather than writing or color coding when writing. In general I would still recommend this set. It’s a good price for such a range of color, and the carrying case is a plus.

Pros:
  • Sturdy case
  • Glitter pens roll with ease
  • Great arts/crafts pens

Cons:
  • Pastels can skip/stutter like there is dried ink on the tips
  • Lots of pastels but few basic colors in non-glitter
  • If accidently touch before completely dry, they will smear

Blackboard Contact Paper

I purchased from seller Perfecto Gifts, Blackboard Wall Decals. With 2 rolls of almost 18 inches wide by 6 feet long, we have plenty to go around. I cut one and placed on the wall in the kitchen with my son’s chore list on it, another in the kitchen for shopping list (if I don’t write it down it will be forgotten and if on paper, before I leave, will be lost), one in my son’s play room for his use, one in his room for use, one in the office for use when working on homework or my quilting, one in the detached garage that my husband is using for his projects, whatever they maybe, and I cut many small ones to put on storage containers marking Christmas ornaments, outside decorations, inside decorations, lights, misc. Christmas, Halloween, Fall, cookie cutters, flour, sugar, self-rising flour, etc.
On the back of the rolls is a graph, making cutting a little bit easier and also making it more likely you will get a nice straight cut! A WORD OF WARNING: Make sure your scissors or box cutter is SHARP SHARP SHARP! If its the least bit dull, expect it to be a lot harder to cut and get straight! Just saying, learn from my mistake!

Once cut, its just a matter of applying it carefully and straight, leave the backing on and pull off just a corner to get started, much easier to re-position and remove the bubbles as you go! This product is a lot like Contact Paper and is similar in application. Once you have it where you are happy with it lined up, began to pull the backing off while holding it in place and smooth as you go. It sounds hard, but a few tugs and taking your time will pay off big here!
Pros:
  • Graph lines on back to help cut straight lines
  • Lots of contact paper
  • Can use anywhere
  • Lots of uses:
    • Walls for chore list
      • Walls for grocery list
      • Walls for kids to play on
      • Walls in workshop for list or projects
      • Walls of quilting/craft room list for projects & supplies
      • Home office walls to write things that need done
      • Walls near children's homework area to help them work out problems without the frustration of working on paper
      • Plastic/glass containers for flour, sugar, cereal, etc.
      • Great for marking containers in fridge with meals for each person or leftovers with made on date
  • Cheaper than the old chalkboards
  • Cheaper and easier to use than the chalkboard paint
Cons:

  • When you wipe off, if not careful it can get the chalk colors on the wall
  • Kids can peel it off
Overall: Definitely buy this if you have kids, if you want to make lists you won’t lose, want to mark what is in containers without using permanent marker –which you can not remove easily.

APEKX QY7 Bluetooth Ear Buds

I purchased from APEKX US, Bluetooth headphones APEKX QY7. The headphones come in a better than most cardboard box with the model number on the front and a sku on the back. Inside the box there’s two more boxes. One with the headphones and the other with the instructions, charging cable, six ear bud tips (3 sizes), and 4 ear hook things (2 sizes). They look huge in my ears but look perfectly normal in my husbands ears, which is hard because usually all ear buds look tiny in his ears.

Charge the headphones for a couple hours before using them. When you’re ready to use them push the multifunction button and power them up. If it’s the first time you need to pair them so hold the button for about 5 seconds. It will say pairing mode if you put the other ear bud in your ear. Make sure your device is visible or it might not pair.

Once it’s paired it you can just push the button for 3 seconds to turn it on and use it. Music controls are volume up, volume down, Skip track forward and skip track backwards. To do this you just hold the volume button down for a second and it will skip depending on what way it was pushed. You can play/pause by pushing the multifunction button.

These are LOUD. My husband was connected to his computer and the buttons are a little tiny in his hands so he turned the volume down to just 1 notch on his computer and it was still a bit loud, the next notch down was mute. They are one of the loudest sets I have and I have quite a few sets. They also have a good range of tones so they don’t sound flat. They have good bass, treble and midrange sounds.

You can answer the phone with them too. They will tell you the phone number of the incoming call and you can either push the multifunction button to answer it or double press it to reject it. When you are done with your phone call it says “phone call is hang up”

Pros:
  •  Can connect to 2 bluetooth items without problems
  •  Looks like a normal pair of earbuds in my husbands ears
  •  Great sound
  •  Long charge

Cons:
  •  If your fingers are big, cannot easily change volume on buds themselves and lowest volume on computer is still loud
  •  If you have tiny ears, these look huge and may not fit quite right

Overall: Definitely one of our favorite Bluetooth ear buds so far.

Dual USB Solar 8000mAh Charger, OCTOPUS High Capacity Waterproof Portable

I purchased from seller Octopus Products, a Dual USB Solar 8000mAh Charger, OCTOPUS High Capacity Waterproof Portable. First thing I liked about it was the rubber protection surrounding the charger providing shock resistance, which is good since my pre-teen will still it and drops everything.. The instructions explained that each bar was 20% so if you had 5 bars then it was 100% charged. I saw that it had 2 UBS port to charge multiple devices, which will allow him to charge his iPad and iPhone at the same time.  There was a C clamp and a designed place to attach it and now you can attach to backpack/purse strap. If it is hanging on backpack and you are outside it of bag, it will be able to charge from the sunlight. Also is water-resistant, so if it starts to rain, you can get it and it won’t be dead because it got a little wet.

Since it can charge in sunlight, my husband can drain his phone during the day and plug it in to the charger and place it on his bag in the sunlight while he is at outside on campus walking or clip to his waste while at Lacrosse practice/games or outside working in the yard. He will have enough charge now to call us if we are not with him and he needs us.

Pros:
* Can fully charge up to 4 times before needing to recharge
* Can charge 2 items at the same time
* Withstand up to 6ft drops
* Waterproof/rainproof/shockproof/dustproof
* Scratch resistant
* Solar charging panel
* Auto detects fastest charging speed possible for each device for fastest charge
* Weighs under 6 ounces
* Safe to use/charge in temperatures between 14°F and 113°F

Cons:
* .Only thing I have found, is that like other chargers, it will not charge Bluetooth earbuds.

Overall: Great for someone who is walking around campus, or camping. They would be able to charge some what which would allow them to keep some charge to their phone in case of emergency.

Frabicon Screen Protector

I received from seller Frabicon a Screen Protectors. It was well protected in a Carbon Fiber like print on the box made out of MDF. The glass is thick unlike the plastic ones, but not too thick and has an excellent product quality. I have tried some that were super thick and you could feel this huge ridge all around the screen and it felt even taller when you went to try and press the home button, but with this one there is a slightly higher than normal height around the home button but not so you feel like you have to use a stylist pen to push the button.

You first start with the Wet Wipe to remove any dirt and stuff from your phone. Then you use the Dry Wipe to dry it for the tempered glass install. You then peal off the backing of the tempered glass and position it accordingly onto your phone.

FEATURES
✓ 2 Pack Tempered Glass.
✓ 0.26mm Thickness & also 1/2mm Narrower.
✓ Lifetime Warranty.

 Pros:
·       Great protection
·       Thick but not hugely thick
·       Doesn’t bend
·       takes the damage so your phone does not

Cons:
·       May not work with some cases.
·       Does not have any forgiveness if you do not put it on the screen properly, if crooked does not like being peeled up and re attached.

Overall: Great Screen protector. Would definitely recommend

Surge Protector 4 outlets with 5 USB ports

I received from seller QICENT TRADING CO., LIMITED, their power strip with surge protection and USB connection charger. I love the face that it has 4 outlets and 5 USB ports. I can pack it and USB cables and not have to take a bunch of adapters to plug in, when we go on trips. It allows everyone to plug their phones in, all in one place, no more having 2 in one room, 2 on onside of the room and another 1 on another side.

 The only downside is if you are plugging your Mac laptop in with the short cable because the way the plugs are laid out, it will block the opposite outlet. I did not see any issues with slow charging because of other devices plugged in at the same time. I love the fact that beside being able to plug in devices via USB and laptops in the outlets, it is also a surge protector, because you never think to take one on trips with you. It is no thicker than regular surge protectors, nor wider, but it is not as long.

Pros:
* Surge protector with 4 outlets
* 5 USB charging ports
* charges all types of devices with no problems
* charges fast
* convenient on/off switch allowing you to kill power to unit when not in use
* small light blue LED light provides subtle confirmation that the unit is on, it is not too bright to be distracting if you plugged in on near tv or in bedroom
* Great compact size, ideal for using by the bed or taking with you on trips
* Rubber feet to prevent sliding on surfaces
* Has a 5 foot long cable with Velcro making it easy to wind up the cable and secure it for trips

Cons:
* Outlets are too close and opposite of each other, which would not allow you to use all 4 ports if you plugged in a Mac Laptop short charging cable

Overall: I would definitely buy again, but would like a matte black or a matte dark crème/brown color. I would definitely recommend to family and friends, whether it is for home, work or traveling.

I may have to buy a few more soon because my son and husband each want one for their rooms. Currently this is sitting in the living room beside my husbands chair with his controllers for his PS3, his short cable for his Mac Laptop, his cable for his iPhone and his cable for his Kindle plugged in.

 Loved the thank you card inside.
