Great Mattress Protector

I purchased a mattress pad to replace my 15 year old cover.  It did not have any odors when I first opened the package, I have had some in the past that have a slight odor. It felt like a quality brand, unlike some that I have bought, that were expensive but felt cheap. Was easy to put on the bed. Very soft and quite, was expecting to hear crinkling for the first few times, but was pleasantly surprised that there was no noise at all. Love the fact that this is machine washable and dryer safe when directions are followed.
I like the fact that it does not have a vinyl back, and the front feels nice enough to lay on for a minute between changing sheets.

Now, lets get down my usual Pro's and Con's listing.

Pros:

  • Easy to put on/take off
  • Easy wash/dry instructions
  • 10 Year Warranty
  • No vinyl
  • No noise
  • No Leaks
  • Fits deep pocket mattresses
  • Does not have the stretchy elastic rows that I am use to on others that stop being useful after 6 months to a year
  • Hypoallergenic terry cotton absorbs moisture
  • Waterproof (dog tested and found after several hours)
  • Does not fall apart after third/fourth/fifth washing
  • Breathable surface
  • Protects against dust mites, allergens  & bacteria

Easy to put on by yourself and one handed.

 Cons:

  • I have not come across any cons

Stays wrapped under mattress and does not pull loose.  http://www.mattressprotector.com  #mattressprotector

It actually fits better than my current sheets do, think I need to replace sheets next, after getting one for each of the queen size beds.
It lays flat once you start making the bed. If you have someone over, unless you told them, they would never know you have a mattress protector on the bed, which is an improvement over my old one.

The puppy had an accident in the middle of the night and failed to let anyone know until they felt a cold wet spot on the bed. Washed in washing machine, on sheets, used only Persil liquid laundry detergent and dried on low. You would never know from looking or smelling that anyone (or pets) had peed on the bed.

Overall:  Would Definitely recommend to anyone with kids, pets, family members who have bladder issues or just illnesses. Beats the expensive ones sold at stores.

Great Coloring Pens

I am always looking for more coloring pens. I have found that I really like the neon, fluorescent, metallic and glitter colors the best.  The pastels are ok but the classics just seem eh, ok, the dark classics are great as background to make the others pop even more, or as a shadow kind of effect that makes something stand out, but otherwise I tend to skip them. The white I rarely if ever use because you cannot tell you used it most of the time.

Pros:
  • Glitter pens do not clog
  • Mixture of medium and almost fine point (.8mm-1.0mm)
  • So many choices, sometimes you can color a page and not use the same color twice
  • Only gel pens I have bought, so far that have a beige/flesh tone and a brown color
  • Rarely, if ever, except near end of ink, did I have any problems with ink flow

Cons:
  • Some of the caps just did not want to stay on the pens

Overall:  Great pens for coloring, scrapbooking, sketching, or just writing. I will buy again. I was greatly impressed with them.

Great coloring pencils, love the case

I purchased 48 natural wood colored pencils for my son and I to use. We both liked the tub case. Just wish it was a little sturdier. He keeps it in the outside side pocket of his backpack and is hard on everything inside. He has already caved in the top of the case and asked me to find another tube carrying case.

Pros:
  • Pastel/light colors
  • Much better quality than those we normally purchase for school
  • Very comfortable to use
  •  Have not broken when sharpening, unlike others I have tried
  • Easy to sharpen to a point
  • Hexagon shape of the pencils makes a natural easy grip

Cons:
  • Really pale colors
  • No names of colors on pencils

Overall:       I love the shade and have been told by an artistic friend that these pencils will darken if you wet the tips, which if I can get them back from my son I will try. Love the case, others have come in boxes and always tear, which other than the top of the lid caving in some this is perfect.
